Application Engineer
n&k Technology is seeking an Application Engineer. The successful candidate must be an energetic, well-organized team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities include: collecting, modeling, and analyzing measurement data; writing reports; training customers and participating in installations of n&k products in the United States and abroad. Responsibilities also include giving technical presentations and assisting the Company’s sales and marketing team to promote and sell n&k products.

General knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and basic optics is considered an asset. BS, in Physics, Materials Science or Engineering is required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Research and Development Physicist
The project will involve “inverse problems” data analysis, “global optimization”, and GUI design. The successful candidate will be working with a multi-disciplinary team of application engineers and software engineers and will participate in evaluating and modifying the existing analysis software and developing new software.

A good knowledge of object-oriented C++ programming and MFC is a plus.

The position requires a Ph.D. in Physics, with excellent mathematical background.

The successful candidate should be a creative and independent thinker, with problem solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills, demonstrated by published papers in refereed journals.

Software Developer
The successful candidate must have a deep knowledge of “inverse problems” data analysis”, “global optimization”, and GUI design, in order to participate in the development of algorithms pertaining to the analysis of reflected spectra of polarized light diffracted from samples of thin films and gratings.

This position requires strong object-oriented C++ design skills and a hands-on experience working with Visual C++ and MFC.

Requires a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or related fields, with excellent mathematical background. The candidate must have good communication skills, be an enthusiastic worker, quick learner, self-starter, problem solver, and have a desire for excellence.

Software Test Engineer
n&k Technology is seeking a Software Test Engineer who will participate in the software testing process of n&k Technology’s products. The successful candidate must be an energetic and well-organized team player. Must have strong communication skills and be able to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Daily duties would consist of:

• Test software to compare to specifications and documentation.
• Identify and duplicate software bugs by determining the means in which they were found.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software functions, outputs, online screens, etc.
• Create test cases and test data as necessary to ensure proper software functionality.
• Contribute to establishment of standards and procedures for software testing.
• Recommend software improvements.
  

This position requires a BS degree in a computer related field and a minimum of 1 year experience testing software in the Windows platform.
